How scoring works

- Picking
Each week select up to 2 teams that you think will win their respective games. No more than 2 games per week can be picked.
- Scoring
You will be awarded points equal to their winning margin.
- Losing
Choose wisely! You will also lose points equal to their losing margin.
- Once
Each team can only be selected ONCE per season.
- Qualifying
To win a prize you must use all 32 teams by the end of the season. Finish with any team unused and you're disqualified from the prizes (your points still show on the board). Your dashboard counts the teams you have left, and the leaderboard marks anyone who can no longer get there.
- Byes
There are 18 weeks and 32 teams; you have 4 byes to help you pick the best spot to use each team.
- Locking
Each game locks 10 minutes before its kickoff, and only that game: you can still change picks in later games. Don't wait until the last second.
- Missed picks
Every pick you skip uses a bye. Once your 4 byes are gone, any pick you miss is filled for you: when the week's results are published, the system randomly assigns one of that week's teams you haven't used yet, and it counts like any other pick.
- Updates
Scores are posted Tuesday mornings. Until then, that week's picks show as pending.
